The best time to wear a (patterned) sweater is all the time.
"Really like the pattern and fit! The fabric is smooth and on the thinner side, so it's good for wearing on its own almost like a dressier version of a long-sleeve t-shirt during the shoulder seasons. The size runs a tad big (although I haven't washed yet, so there will likely be some shrinkage since it's cotton. Hence, I'm going with "runs true" for the survey question at the bottom of the review. ) If there's not much shrinkage, running a tad big could be an asset though, since it gives you scope to wear it on top of a shirt during the winter (assuming you live somewhere with seasons like I do, here in Michigan). Mostly I just love the color - purple is my favorite!"
