Nice but collar splits

"I have purchased PF shirts for 30 years. I typically purchase 6 or more shirts a year. I have numerous shirts that are several years old. As I personally wash, dry and occasionally press them, I know their shirts well. I generally love the shirts. Recently the non iron Buttondown shirts have split at the point the collar meets the collar band. All of my shirts are washed and dried at home by me. This occurs at about 1 year. My most recent purchase was in mid April this year. The White Buttondown started to split at the same points after being worn and washed only approximately 10 times. I emailed PF Customer service and was informed my purchase was outside the 90 days. Therefore PF would not address the quality issue presented. Quite disappointing If you are experiencing similar issues, please let PF know. It is unacceptable for a short that is personally washed in a front loader per the instructions should split after 10-12 washings."

I purchased many button-down non-iron

"I purchased many button-down non-iron cotton shirts over the years. I still wear them. They were made of Supima cotton. The new shirt does not feel as nice. Also, I think you reduce the size of the buttons down the front of the shirt. I don’t plan to return it, but I probably won’t wear it."

I retired 16 years ago

"I retired 16 years ago and wore suits or good business casual when suits weren't worn. I always had quality 16 - 16. 5 " neck by 32" -33 " sleeve button down oxford shirts. Due to aging ( posture)I needed a bigger neck size, but 17" - 17. 5" was too big. Ordering these shirts 17" neck, 32" sleeve was perfect for me. I was also able to order a slim fit. It's like having a custom made shirt, and the quality is excellent. Ordering to delivery was also very good taking approximately 5 days."

"Absolutely abysmal shopping experience. Search for what I thought was perfect shirt and then only after paying over $100 Paul frederick response was that shirt on backorder with over 45 day delay. Very deceptive."

I am not happy about

"I am not happy about some of the details. Especially the top button. I got these shirts because I might have need to wear a tie, and I planned on buttoning the top button. In all the shirts the button hole was a problem When wearing the shirt a problem just to try and get the button pressed through the hole, and when not wearing the shirt even then the hole was too small to reasonably get the button through it."

"I need what LL Bean calls "tall" which gives me more length and a bit more room in the belly area. Too bad because the material is exactly what I want and that LL Bean no longer makes in a variety of colors."

"They say that the shirts are 100 per cent cotton but whatever is added to make them wrinkle free makes the material stiff and doesn't breathe like cotton. I have purchased many shirts to my size however your shirts are smaller in the neck than my other 16 size neck and the sleeves that are 32 are longer than others I have bought. I will not be purchasing any thing else from you."
