Right around the birth of WFH (work from home), the obituaries were written for the suit. Outfits of dress shirts with shorts and sweatpants were common video conference apparel. That was the future of menswear many predicted. But men, most men, have a little peacock in them. We like to look good. We feel good when we look good. We have more confidence. We perform better in business. Heck, we just like to dress up.

So now we’re seeing more and more guys in suits and sports coats, with and without ties. The formula has been picked up and shaken a bit. The approach is more freeing and more fun, and that’s why we love where dressing up in suits and jackets is headed.

We want our suits to be comfortable. We demand it. So our suits have added stretch. Fabrics breath. Tradition has been lovingly updated with new patterns and colors. We’ve modernized seersucker and linen. Fit is more welcoming to a group of men with diverse size requests.

Our advice is to choose a neutral and add a pop of color or embrace a stronger color and compliment it with a white with contrast trim or casual shirt or polo that settles the look down. Relax. Enjoy. We’re headed back into a renaissance of menswear.
