Great shirt, but...
I recently ordered three shirts from Paul Frederick. My very first order. This sport shirt and two dress shirts. There are two things I’d like to review here. First is the quality of the product. I am very pleased with all three shirts. They are well made, the fabric has a nice weight and feel, and all three shirts are true to size. Definitely quality products. I didn't notice the pink stripe in this shirt and am not wild about it, but it's fine. Still a nice shirt and I’m glad that I bought it. The second thing I want to review is the Paul Frederick internet policy. I set up a Paul Frederick account, thinking that would make re-orders and other communication easier, which it probably would. Maybe my fault but I didn’t see their privacy policy when setting up the account. Within moments of placing my order I began getting emails from companies I’ve never heard from before. I remember thinking, what caused all this to happen all of the sudden? I went back to the Paul Frederick website, found and read their privacy policy. It provides an opt out option to the (I think it said 88 companies) that they allowed to get my email address. I opted out immediately, however, it was too late. I’m getting up to 20 extra junk emails per day from these companies. (If each of these companies gives my email address to 88 more companies, well you can do the math.) In addition, Paul Frederick seems to find it necessary to send me up to two messages almost every day. I’d be happy with one per month or maybe even one per week, but one or two a day? I can’t remember the last time I encountered such disrespect for ones customers. I really like many of the Paul Fredrick styles and now I know that I like their quality. Just not sure that I’ll be back as a customer. Too bad.
